Installing the LeadIQ Chrome Extension

Overview

This article shows you how to add LeadIQ's Prospecting Hub Chrome extension to your browser.

Please Note: The extension is only available through Chrome at this time.

Step 1: Open your Google Chrome browser and navigate to the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome.

Step 2: On the popup window; click Add extension.

Another popup window will confirm that the extension has been added to your Chrome browser. 

Step 3: Click the puzzle icon on the top right of your browser to open your Chrome extension menu. Click the pin icon to pin the extension to your browser bar. 

Step 4: Click the LeadIQ icon on the top right of your browser to open the extension. In order to use Prospector+, which allows you to view contacts and accounts in Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft and more, please click Update Permissions. 

Using the LeadIQ Extension in Side-Panel Mode

Chrome now allows extensions to appear as a side panel instead of opening as a separate window. This can provide a cleaner, more streamlined experience when prospecting. Below are the steps to enable, customize, and revert from side-panel mode.

1. Enable Side-Panel Mode for LeadIQ by right clicking on the LeadIQ extension and selecting open as side panel.

2. Choose which side of the browser to display your extensions by going to Settings > Appearance > Side Panel Position. You can also resize the panel by clicking and dragging its edge to your desired width.

3. Enable Open as Popup by right clicking the LeadIQ extension and selecting Open as Popup
