Bulk Email Re-Verification

Overview
LeadIQ's bulk email re-verification feature lets you take a list of previously captured leads and run their emails through LeadIQ's verification engine in a single batch — no manual effort required.
When the job completes, you receive an in-app notification with a breakdown of results. Any emails identified as invalid are automatically replaced with a clearly formatted placeholder address, and the updated record is synced to Outreach (currently only available for Outreach).
This feature is designed to help customers maintain clean outreach lists, reduce bounce rates, and quickly identify leads that need to be re-prospected.
How to Run a Bulk Email Re-Verification
Step 1 — Open your list
- Navigate to the Lists page in the LeadIQ web app.
- Click into the list that contains the leads whose emails you want to re-verify.
- Make sure the People tab is selected.
Step 2 — Select leads
Use the checkboxes to select the leads you want to include. You can select up to 10,000 leads per run.
Note: If your list has more than 10,000 leads, you will need to run the verification in multiple batches.
Step 3 — Trigger re-verification
- Click Actions in the toolbar above the list.
- Select Re-verify Emails from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm the action. LeadIQ will kick off an asynchronous verification job in the background.
Step 4 — Review updated emails in the list
- Navigate back to or refresh your list to see the results.
- All emails that came back as invalid have been replaced in the Work Email column with a placeholder in this format: noemail+<original-email>@leadiq.com
For example:
noemail+kyle-1.leadiq.com.com@leadiq.com
Note: The original email is preserved inside the placeholder so you can identify and review each contact. The noemail+ prefix and leadiq.com domain signal that this address was flagged as invalid — it is technically a verified address from an email deliverability perspective, which prevents it from causing hard bounces.
3. The updated email addresses are automatically pushed to Outreach. Additional CRM integrations are planned for future releases.
What the noemail+ Format Means
When you or your team see an email address starting with noemail+, it means LeadIQ verified that address and found it to be invalid. The placeholder is intentionally easy to recognise so you know to take action on those leads.
Recommended next steps for noemail+ contacts:
- Re-prospect the person — they may have changed jobs or companies.
- Run them through an enrichment tool to find a current email address.
- Remove them from active sequences until their data is updated.
