How to Save Contacts into HubSpot Sequences

At this time, LeadIQ does not natively support enrolling contacts directly into HubSpot Sequences at the moment of capture. However, you can still save contacts to HubSpot and use a simple workaround to enroll them into sequences using HubSpot automation or views.

This article outlines two supported workaround options depending on your team’s workflow.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, ensure that:

  • LeadIQ is connected to your HubSpot account

  • Contacts are successfully saving from LeadIQ into HubSpot

  • You have permission in HubSpot to create custom properties, views, or workflows

Option 1: Use LeadIQ Lists + HubSpot Automation (Recommended)

This option is ideal if you want contacts to be automatically enrolled into a HubSpot Sequence based on how they are captured in LeadIQ.

Step 1: Name Your LeadIQ List to Match a HubSpot Sequence

When capturing contacts in LeadIQ, create or use a List whose name matches the HubSpot Sequence you plan to use.

Example:

  • LeadIQ List name: Q1 Outbound – Sales

  • HubSpot Sequence name: Q1 Outbound – Sales

Step 2: Map the LeadIQ List Name to HubSpot

  1. In LeadIQ, go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot

  2. Map the LeadIQ List Name field to a custom contact property in HubSpot

    • Example property: LeadIQ List Name

Step 3: Enroll Contacts into a Sequence Using HubSpot

In HubSpot, you can now use this property to enroll contacts into a sequence:

  • Create a workflow or manual enrollment rule

  • Set the condition:

    • LeadIQ List Name equals Sequence Name

  • Enroll matching contacts into the corresponding HubSpot Sequence

This allows contacts captured in LeadIQ to flow into the correct sequence automatically.

Option 2: Use HubSpot Views to Manually Enroll Contacts

This option works best if you prefer manual control over sequence enrollment.

Step 1: Create a Custom View in HubSpot

  1. Go to Contacts in HubSpot

  2. Create a new Saved View

  3. Use LeadIQ source fields or custom properties as filters (for example, LeadIQ List Name)

Step 2: Enroll Contacts from the View

From the saved view:

  • Select the contacts

  • Enroll them directly into a HubSpot Sequence

This method does not require automation and is useful for smaller batches or review-based workflows.
