LeadIQ Refresh Instant Enrichments

Overview

The Instant Enrichment feature in LeadIQ Refresh allows you to enrich Salesforce records automatically in real time. Rather than waiting for scheduled batch updates, Instant Enrichment triggers an update immediately upon record creation or when a change is made to specific fields in your Account, Contact, or Lead records. This ensures your data is always current and accurate.

Instant Enrichment can be set up to run when records are created or updated, giving you flexibility in how and when enrichment is applied. With built-in filters, you can limit the enrichment to only the records that meet your specific business criteria.

To set up Instant Enrichments, please navigate to the LeadIQ app in Salesforce --> Refresh --> Instant Enrichments.

 

Setting Up Instant Enrichment: On Create

Use the On Create option when you want enrichment to occur immediately after a new record is created in Salesforce.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Instant Enrichments
    In the LeadIQ Salesforce App, go to: Refresh > Instant Enrichments > New Instant Enrichment

  2. Enter Rule Details

    • Rule Name: Provide a name for this enrichment rule.

    • Object Type: Select either Account, Lead, or Contact

  3. Select Event Type

    • Choose the On Create option to trigger enrichment when a new record is created.

  4. Enter Priority

    • Assign a numeric priority to control rule execution order. This is applicable when a record matches multiple defined rules. In such cases, only the highest priority rule is applied to the record. 

    • Lower numbers run first (e.g., 1 is higher priority than 2). 

  5. Add Filters

    • Filters allow you to narrow down which records should be enriched.

    • Use the AND/OR logic to combine multiple filters. At this point, mixing AND and OR rules is not supported.

    • Date filters using the "between" operator are inclusive of both start and end dates.

  6. Save the Rule
    Click Save or Save & New to finalize.

 

Setting Up Instant Enrichment: On Update

Use the On Update option when you want enrichment to occur after specific fields on an existing record are changed.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Instant Enrichments
    In the LeadIQ Salesforce App, go to: Refresh > Instant Enrichments > New Instant Enrichment

  2. Enter Rule Details

    • Rule Name: Provide a name for this enrichment rule.

    • Object Type: Select either Account, Lead, or Contact

  3. Select Event Type

    • Choose the On Update option.

  4. Enter Priority

    • Assign a numeric priority to control rule execution order. This is applicable when a record matches multiple defined rules. In such cases, only the highest priority rule is applied to the record. 

    • Lower numbers run first (e.g., 1 is higher priority than 2). 

  5. Define Trigger Fields (Required)

    • Under Select Fields, add the field(s) that, when updated, will trigger enrichment.

    • Enrichment will only occur if at least one of the specified fields is changed.

  6. Add Filters

    • Use filters to further refine which records should be enriched after a trigger field has been updated

    • Use the AND/OR logic to combine multiple filters. At this point, mixing AND and OR rules is not supported.

    • Date filters using the "between" operator are inclusive of both start and end dates.

  7. Save the Rule
    Click Save or Save & New to finalize.
