Universal Credits (UC) is a system designed to simplify and standardize how data is consumed across various LeadIQ products. This guide explains how UC works for web search bulk capture, including consumption rules and common scenarios.
Search
Search LeadIQ allows you to browse People and Companies on our local database. To learn more on how to use Search, please refer to our guide here or our video tutorial here.
Consumption of credits
Universal credits are consumed in the following instances:
- Person data
- Company data
Settings
People Bulk Capture Settings:
- Add to list - select LeadIQ list
- Export up to - select number of contacts to export (up to 10,000)
- Filter - select email status to export
Company Bulk Capture Settings:
- Add to list - select LeadIQ list
- Export up to - select number of companies to export (up to 10,000)
Common Scenarios
User submits bulk capture for 100 records but wants only people record with verified email and with phones.

- Bulk Capture Result: 30 people records found with verified emails and phone records, and 10 corresponding company records.

UC Charged:
- People data = 30 UCs
- Company data = 10 UCs
User submits a bulk capture for 100 records, including all email types, with or without phone numbers.

- Bulk Capture Result: 45 new people records linked to 10 companies were found. 55 people records linked to 15 companies were already captured by a team member in the past year and were added to the list.

UC Charged:
- People data = 45 UCs
- Company data = 10 UCs
User submits bulk capture for 100 records but wants only people records with unverified emails.

- Bulk Capture Result: 50 people records found with unverified emails but no phones provided and 20 company records.

- People data = 50 UCs
- Company data = 20 UCs
User submits bulk capture for 100 company records.
