Allocating Universal Credits to Team Members

Overview

Universal Credits (UC) are LeadIQ’s shared credit pool system. Instead of managing multiple plans separately across different product lines, UC gives your entire team access to one unified pool of credits. This ensures simpler management, fair usage, and better visibility into how credits are consumed.

As an Admin, you have the ability to control how credits are spent—whether at the product line, team, group, or individual user level.

How it Works

Shared Credit Pool

  • All team members draw credits from the same subscription balance.
  • The remaining balance is visible from the admin My Account - Credit Summary dashboard

Product Line Credit Limits

  • Admins can assign caps on product lines (e.g., Prospecting/extension capped at 3,000 credits).
  • Once the cap is reached, the team cannot consume additional credits in that product line.
  • If set to “No Limit”, usage is unrestricted until the shared credit pool limit is depleted.

Team-Wide Credit Limits

  • Admins can define a team-limit (e.g., 2,000 credits each).
  • This limit applies across all product lines, but never exceeds the shared credit pool limit.
  • If “No Limit” is selected, users can consume as needed up to the remaining balance.

User Credit Limits

Within Team Settings, Admins can:

  • Override limits for individual users (e.g., 2,000 credits for Kelly)

Usage per member is tracked and displayed in real time (e.g., User has consumed 1,000 of 3,000 credits in Prospecting).
