Group Governance Setting: Manage Contact Data Quality

What it Does
This feature allows Admins to control the filters applied to email coverage for specific user groups. It also lets Admins configure the volume and quality of data groups can access in LeadIQ by choosing whether they only want to import verified emails or if they are also open to importing edited, unverified, and best guess emails. Note: This Governance setting overrides the user-level email quality setting in the Chrome extension.
Why it is Important
This setting supports overall data quality by giving Admins direct control over the quality and coverage of data that different groups across the LeadIQ user base can access. By influencing the accuracy and volume of contact data accessible to specific user groups, Admins can strategically support sales goals while also promoting CRM hygiene and data consistency.
How it Works
LeadIQ categorizes an email's quality based on the level of verification it receives, resulting in all LeadIQ email data coverage being sorted into four buckets: verified, edited, unverified, and best guess. LeadIQ always imports verified emails when a prospect is captured, but admins can also opt to have the other email categories available to specific user groups.
- Example 1: An Admin may want to update Group Governance data quality settings for their SDR team that prioritizes coverage over quality and spends all day prospecting. Because this group would benefit from increased coverage, it makes sense for an admin to include other email categories.
- Example 2: In contrast to the example above, the same Admin may decide that their AE team needs to reduce time spent prospecting and should only focus on high-quality leads. In this case, the Admin would limit this group to accessing only verified emails.
