Contact Tracking with ICP/Persona

What does ICP stand for?
ICP stands for Ideal Customer Profile. It is a set of firmographic and technographic parameters that describe the ideal customer for a company or product. The following fields are currently supported for ICP definition: Company Size, Industry, Location, and Technology.

What does Persona mean?
Persona describes the profile of the person using or buying the product. These are the individuals that sales teams would target for outbound efforts. We currently support the following fields to describe a persona: Title, Function, Seniority, and Location.

ICP/Persona Creation in LeadIQ's WebApp is documented here: https://leadiqhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/16507150106139-ICP-Persona

How does ICP/Persona integrate with Contact Tracking and Account Tracking?

When setting up a Contact Tracking or Account Tracking jobs in Track, users now have the option to select ICP/Persona(s) they would like their results aligned with. If no ICP/Persona(s) is selected, all defined ICP/Personas will be considered in scope for this job run.

Clicking on the search bar will display the list of ICP/Personas set up on the web app.

Prerequisite: These ICP/Personas must be set up on the LeadIQ web app prior to setting up this job.

The matching results are stored in the IQ Contact Tracking Record in two fields:

  • IQ ICP-Persona: Name(s) of the matched ICP/Persona (there could be more than one match).
  • IQ ICP-Persona Group: The group that the matched Persona applies to (there could be more than one group). If two Personas belong to the same group, the group will be displayed only once due to its unique value.

Below is a screenshot of how these fields will appear in the results (list and detail layout view):
