LeadIQ Extension is Not Opening or Not Populating Any Data

The most common issues with LeadIQ extension are "The extension does not open" and "The extension doesn't mirror/reflect my searchers." This document explains how to fix these types of issues but is not limited to those issues described.

 

Clear Cache from All Time (Chrome)

You should clear your browser's cached data periodically, depending on how heavily you use your browser. We recommend somewhere between every week to every month by following these steps:


- Close the LeadIQ
- Click on the customize and control google chrome button (its the 3 dots on the upper right of the browser)
- On the drop-down menu, choose history. Another popup menu will appear and again choose history.
- On the new page, choose clear browsing data
- Another page will open with a menu. place checks on the boxes marked: cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Make sure you select "All time" in the time range dropdown

- Once that is done, close all tabs and all windows of Chrome and then reopen Chrome.
- Log in at "https://account.leadiq.com/" and try again

Update Chrome Browser

The LeadIQ extension always runs in the latest version of Chrome. To check if you need to update, please follow the following steps:

  • Look at the top-right of the Browser. If an update is needed, you should see the "Update"

  • Click on that button and follow the Chrome instructions to restart the browser.

Refresh The Extension 

The extension might need to refresh in order to open. To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Copy this address "Chrome://extensions/" and enter it in the Chrome Address bar
  • This will take you to a page that displays all of your current extensions.
  • Just hit the toggle off the switch for the LeadIQ extension, then toggle it back on

  • Once that is done, close all tabs and all windows of Chrome and then reopen Chrome.
  • Login at "https://account.leadiq.com/" and try again.

Uninstall/reinstall Extension

If none of those steps above work, Uninstalling the extension and restating the browser should help, to do that:

  • Click on this link to go to the detail of the LeadIQ extension on the Chrome Store
  • A new page will load. Click on "Remove From Chrome"

  • Once that is done, close all tabs and all windows of Chrome and then reopen Chrome.
  • Click on this link and click on "Add to Chrome."
  • Reopen the extension and try again
